Privacy Policy

HQ Digital Solutions (SMC-Private) Limited ("HQ Digital Solutions", "we", "us", or "our") operates ItsYourPDF ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when you use ItsYourPDF.

ItsYourPDF is a document and image toolkit. Its PDF and image processing tools are designed to run on your device without uploading your documents to our servers.

The app does not transmit your documents to our servers. Google services used by the app may process advertising, billing, review, and related technical data as described below. If you choose to contact us through Help & Support, your email is sent to our support inbox.

1. Documents and Images You Select

Every tool — including converting, editing, merging, compressing, signing, and OCR — runs on your own device. Files you open are not uploaded to our servers.

You choose each document or image through Android's system picker. The App receives the specific files you select; it does not browse, scan, or index your device.

A selected file may be copied into the App's private storage for processing. Your original file is left untouched, and temporary working copies made during a tool run are cleaned up afterwards.

Files you delete may be placed in the App's on-device bin until you empty it or the 30-day retention period passes.

2. Saving and Exporting

Results are saved in the App's private storage, which other apps cannot normally read.

A file leaves the App's private storage only when you choose to do so. "Save to device" opens Android's save dialog so you can choose the destination yourself. Sharing or printing hands the file to the app you select.

Nothing is copied out of the App without an action you choose.

3. Your Profile

The display name you choose is stored in the App's local storage so the App can greet you. It is not transmitted to us.

ItsYourPDF does not provide user accounts or an account server for signing in, syncing, or storing your profile.

4. Help & Support

The Help & Support screen opens your own email app addressed to hqdigitalsolutions@gmail.com. We do not receive anything until you actually send the email.

If you send an email, the information you provide — including your email address and message — reaches our support inbox. We use it only to respond to you and address reported problems, not for advertising.

If you never send a support email, we do not receive support information from you through this feature.

5. Advertising & Advertising ID

Free users see ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google's advertising SDK may process device and advertising identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID, general device information, ad interactions such as impressions and clicks, operational diagnostics, and approximate location derived from IP address.

This advertising-related processing is provided by Google and is governed by Google's applicable policies. We do not receive your documents, files, or document content through AdMob. We receive only the advertising and earnings information made available to us by Google, such as aggregate reporting.

You can reset your advertising identifier or change ad personalisation settings using the controls available on your Android device.

Ad content in ItsYourPDF is limited to a general-audience rating. Buying Premium stops the App from requesting ads.

6. Purchases & Subscriptions

Premium is sold through Google Play Billing. Your payment details are handled by Google Play and are not passed through the App to us. We do not see or store your full payment information.

The App asks Google Play whether a subscription is active and stores the resulting entitlement information, together with locally cached Premium status, on your device.

We do not operate a purchase server and do not maintain our own payment-card or billing database. Your purchase receipt and billing records are maintained by Google Play under Google's applicable policies.

7. Analytics & Crash Reporting

We do not operate our own analytics or crash-reporting SDK. There is no Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or similar first-party analytics or crash-reporting system in the App.

Tool counts and recent-file lists shown by the App are calculated and stored on your device and are not transmitted to us.

Google's advertising and Play Services components may collect their own operational and measurement data as described in their applicable policies.

8. Third-Party Services

The third-party components used by the App are provided by Google and include:

• Google AdMob for advertising for free users.
• Google Play Billing for Premium subscriptions.
• Google Play In-App Review for the in-app rating request.
• Google ML Kit on-device text recognition for OCR.

AdMob, Google Play Billing, and Google Play In-App Review are provided by Google and are subject to Google's applicable policies. You can review Google's privacy practices at Google's Privacy Policy .

ML Kit text recognition used by ItsYourPDF runs on your device with its required models bundled with the App. The page image and text read from it remain on your device and are not sent to a remote recognition service by ItsYourPDF.

Google Play In-App Review may display a rating request to you. The App's counters used to decide when to show the review request — such as app opens and tool usage — are stored only on your device.

When you share or print a file, the file is handed to the app you select in Android's system dialog. That app's own privacy policy and terms then govern its handling of the file.

9. Permissions

ItsYourPDF does not request runtime permissions for storage, photos, media, camera, location, microphone, contacts, or notifications.

Opening a document or selecting an image uses Android's system picker. Saving a file uses Android's save dialog. Android grants the App access to the specific item you select rather than broad access to your device's files.

ItsYourPDF does not request "All files" or "Manage all files" access. The scanner works from pictures you already have and therefore does not require camera permission.

Notifications shown inside the App's own bell menu are generated and stored locally and do not require the Android notification permission.

10. Data Retention & Deletion

Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to resolve your request. You may contact hqdigitalsolutions@gmail.com to request earlier deletion of a support message, subject to any legal or operational reason we may have to retain limited information.

Other App data described in this policy is stored solely on your device. Uninstalling the App removes the App's locally stored files, bin contents, profile, preferences, and other local App data, subject to Android's own device behavior and backups.

ItsYourPDF does not provide user account creation, so there is no separate ItsYourPDF account to delete.

11. Your Choices

• You can reset your advertising identifier or change advertising-personalisation settings in Android.
• You can purchase Premium to remove ads.
• You can choose not to contact support by email.
• You can delete files, empty the App's bin, or uninstall the App to remove locally stored App data.

These choices do not disable the App's document and image tools.

12. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to, or restrict the processing of personal information that we hold about you. For ItsYourPDF, information held by us is generally limited to information contained in support emails that you choose to send us.

We do not sell your personal information or independently provide it to advertisers. Google may receive and process information through its AdMob and Google Play services as described in this policy and under Google's own policies.

Requests concerning information collected directly by Google through AdMob or Google Play services should be directed to Google under the applicable Google policies, because we do not hold or control that information.

13. Children's Privacy

ItsYourPDF is not directed at children under 13 and is not part of the Google Play Families program.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors through the App. If you believe a child has contacted us through Help & Support, please email us and we will review the request and delete the message where appropriate.

14. Data Security

ItsYourPDF is designed so that document and image processing occurs locally on your device rather than on our servers. Files stored by the App are kept in the App's private storage and are not intentionally exposed to other apps by ItsYourPDF.

No electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should keep backups of important documents and protect access to your device.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If a future version of ItsYourPDF starts collecting or transmitting information in a materially different way, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that change is introduced where required.

The effective date at the top of this page shows when this version of the Privacy Policy took effect.
